I grew up in Greenfield, IN.  I am married with two girls and two grandsons. I have been in the hearing industry for almost 20 years now and love helping others hear. I am also hearing impaired and that allows me to understand what my patients go through with their hearing challenges.

Amy Smith

I am a Clinical Audiologist who has been in practice over 30 years. Wow that makes me feel old! I received my education from Eastern Illinois University and Northern Illinois University finishing in 1986. I have practiced Audiology in Milwaukee, WI, St Louis, MO, and various places in Illinois. I recently moved to Paris, IL with my husband Daniel when he accepted a call to Grace Lutheran Church in 2016. We have 2 children Nathaniel and Johanna who are both adults, a cat named Rascal and a dog Bailey, and 2 grand-kittens Nimrod and Milo. In my spare time you can find me working in the yard or reading a book.

I enjoy the field of Audiology because I love problem solving. Hearing is not the same in any 2 people, so every patient is unique. I love learning about them and listening to them; then trying to find the best combination of technology and strategies to help them hear their best. The fun part of this job; I get to travel to parts of the state of Indiana and work with people through the different offices.

Very helpful and friendly. Would recommend them.

Amy Smith is a superb audiologist who gave me the most thorough and comprehensive exam that I have ever experienced. She took the time to answer my questions and explained what I’m experiencing with hearing loss. Don’t ever miss the opportunity to work with her!

I was referred to Help-U-Hear by the person/company I originally bought my hearing aids from. I had no problem scheduling an appointment to get my hearing aids cleaned and a minor concern taken care of. Very nice and friendly people, that were more than helpful. I will use them again...
