I’ve lived in Terre Haute almost all my life. I have two beautiful daughters, Gwynn (15) and Allyson (9), that both keep my heart full and our home LOUD. In my free time I enjoy working outdoors and entertaining my nieces and nephew. I have had the privilege to work at our Terre Haute office 7 years as of November.
I started as a Patient Care Coordinator and over time, realized that I wanted to be more involved in helping our patients better connect with the world around them, through better hearing. In turn, I began studying Hearing Health Sciences about 2 years ago and plan on taking my licensing exam the beginning of 2019. Come see us at the Terre Haute office and let us show you what sets us apart from all the rest.
I am a Clinical Audiologist who has been in practice over 30 years. Wow that makes me feel old! I received my education from Eastern Illinois University and Northern Illinois University finishing in 1986. I have practiced Audiology in Milwaukee, WI, St Louis, MO, and various places in Illinois. I recently moved to Paris, IL with my husband Daniel when he accepted a call to Grace Lutheran Church in 2016. We have 2 children Nathaniel and Johanna who are both adults, a cat named Rascal and a dog Bailey, and 2 grand-kittens Nimrod and Milo. In my spare time you can find me working in the yard or reading a book.
I enjoy the field of Audiology because I love problem solving. Hearing is not the same in any 2 people, so every patient is unique. I love learning about them and listening to them; then trying to find the best combination of technology and strategies to help them hear their best. The fun part of this job; I get to travel to parts of the state of Indiana and work with people through the different offices.
